The breathtaking Valley of Nomads located in Bou Tharar is a beautiful valley where nomads live in caves that are surrounded by Mount Mgoun.

Mount Mgoun is the second highest mountain in Morocco and boasts extraordinary views of the rust colored, earthy scenery.

Experience

Today our hike will start at 9am, our drivers will pick up us to the start point exactly the Bou Tharar where our local guide waits for us with his team of muleteers. Once arrive to Bou Tharar have tea with a nomadic family. See how they make their own carpets and co-exist in Bou Tharar with other nomadic families. Lunch will be served at a nearby guesthouse that offers local Moroccan fare and a panoramic view. Relax and sip mint tea while gazing at the impressive valley view.

After lunch our three-hour route begins from Bou Tharar to the village of Tisguine n’Aït M’Rao. A new leg in the same area from the Alemdoun valley up to the valley of the roses, where we will discover a new scenery. Once arriving to Tisguine n’Aït M’Rao we will have time to admire its panoramic views and have some tea with locals and learn about their lifestyle…

Finally we will say goodbye to locals and our guide, then our drivers will collect us from Tisguine n’Aït M’Rao and drive to our accommodation.
