My 2 day trek with Abdul through the Atlas mountains was the highlight of my trip. I felt welcomed and at ease walking through the beautiful landscape, swapping cultures, and sharing childhood stories in a private, 1 on 1 setting. I hope to return one day to complete the 3 day hike to the peak of Mt. Toubkal with my guide. Thank you, Abdul!

Zin is the best guide EVER! He was welcoming , hospitable and friendly with a huge smile from The beginning to the end. We walked for 2 days and went at my pace and he supported me throughout with patience as I was not used to walking in the heat ! We had plenty of breaks and he provided lunch on both days .. very talented ! We stayed the night at a Berber village where a delicious tangine was provided by the cook halid and entertainment fro both of them singing berbers songs and drumming their hands on the table ! ZIn is a popular person as everyone was chatting to him as we went though the Berber villages ! He was informative with the Berber history and their community and the people were so friendly . He was genuinely interested in my own culture politics and Scottish sayings!
Very different to Marrakech! We walked for 6-7 hours on the first day, starting in the beautiful mountain village of Imlil. My guide Lahcen was great fun and managed to teach me a bit of Arabic to go with his many language skills. This was a really nice way of seeing a completely different part of Morroco and understanding more about the Berber people - I took some amazing photographs! Make sure you bring clothes for snow though if you go in winter!
