Experience the beauty of the Sahara desert with a private, 3-day, 2-night excursion from Agadir. Revel in centuries of history as you commune with local Berber people. Trek across the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi on a camel.
Your 3-day excursion begins with early pickup from your hotel in Agadir in a modern, air conditioned vehicle, bound for Tinghir. Along the way, your first stop is at a Berber village to discover the heritage of Morocco’s indigenous people. Afterwards, stop for lunch at stunning Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, with free time to wander the storied Kasbah. Then you’re off to Ouarzazate, the site of Atlas Film Studios, for a tour of the sprawling desert studio. After driving through the picturesque Dadès Gorges, you’ll settle in to Tinghir for dinner and a night at a hotel.
Straight after breakfast the next morning, your journey to the Sahara begins through the vast, craggy rock faces of the Tinghir valley. Bound for Merzouga, you’ll stop to explore Rissani’s famous Kasbah, and the oasis town of Erfoud. Once you arrive in Mergouza, you’ll hop on a camel to venture into the vast, untouched Sahara. Riding along the famous Erg Chebbi dunes, which rise up to 500 feet above the rocky desert floor, experience the sights that have so captivated desert-dwellers and travelers alike.
After a traditional dinner over the fire, enjoy some local music as the immensity of the desert sky opens up to you. After dinner, you’ll sleep among the dunes in a traditional Berber tent. Don’t miss the one-of-a-kind desert sunrise the next morning before you head back to Agadir at 9:00 AM, arriving back late in the evening.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
